2. Description of the Service

Tiling Studio is a tool for creating, editing, and experimenting with tile layouts, patterns, and grid configurations. The Service is currently offered free of charge, although paid features may be introduced in the future.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features, you may need to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login information and for all activity under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. User Content

"User Content" includes tile designs, layouts, grids, colors, and any other creations or data you generate using the Service.

  • Your Ownership: You retain full ownership of the projects, designs, and other content you create.
  • Your Rights: You may use, export, download, publish, and commercialize your designs without restriction.
  • Our Rights: You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your User Content solely for the purpose of operating the Service. We do not claim ownership of your creations.

5. Intellectual Property

Tiling Studio, including its software, UI/UX design, features, underlying technology, and branding, is owned by us and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, distribute, reverse engineer, modify, or create derivative works of the Service except as expressly permitted by these Terms or by law.

6. Fair Use and Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service responsibly. You may not:

  • Use automated tools (scrapers, bots, crawlers) without permission
  • Attempt to overload, disrupt, or misuse the Service
  • Upload harmful code or engage in security breaches
  • Use the Service in violation of any applicable laws
  • Attempt to access or modify systems or data that do not belong to you

We reserve the right to impose rate limits or restrict access if usage interferes with the stability of the Service (“Fair Use Policy”).

7. Availability and Modifications

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Features may be added, changed, or removed at any time. We may also suspend or terminate the Service or your access if necessary for maintenance, security, or operational reasons.

  • Accuracy or completeness of generated designs
  • Availability or reliability of the Service
  • Suitability of the Service for any specific purpose
  • Non-interruption, security, or error-free operation

You use the Service at your own risk.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

  • Loss of data or User Content
  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Loss of profits or business opportunities
  • Service interruptions or technical issues

Our total liability for any claim related to the Service will not exceed the amount you have paid us, if any, in the past 12 months (currently $0 as the Service is free).

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if required for security, legal, or operational reasons.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in your place of residence, unless prohibited by local regulations. Disputes should be resolved through good-faith communication before taking formal action.
